Supplied with a standard 4 mm-per-turn ground lead screw, the AU200-200×200 Alignment Stages feature 200 mm (7.874 in.) of travel in both the X and Y axes. The AU200-15×15-01 Motorized Stage (pictured) and the AU200-15×15-04 Motorized Stage are powered by Two-Phase Stepper Motors and have high 0.25 micron resolution and high 1.5 micron repeatability.

The AU200-15×15-04 stage includes Quadrature encoders for position verification. Both stages have a large 3.54 in. x 3.54 in. (90 mm x 90 mm) platform with large open aperture and feature standard 1 mm-per-turn ground lead screws, and precision V-grove and Cross Roller guides.

Van Nuys, CA – The New AU300-AER-02 Three-axis Gimbal Mount from OES (Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc.) with Three-Phase Brushless Servo Motors and Quadrature Incremental Encoders features very high resolution and high speed. Each axis features: Low backlash worm gear drives and precision “V” groove and cross roller bearings for high accuracy and repeatability. The typical accuracy is 0.05° equal to 180 arcsec and typical repeatability is +/- 0.01° equal to +/- 36 arcsec. The maximum travel speed of each axis is 45° per second.

This new three-axis gimbal mount handles loads up to 10 kg (22 lbs) and has a clearance of 300 mm x 300 mm (11.8 in. x 11.8 in.) around the roll axis stage and each stage is capable of the full 360° rotation of its axis. The azimuth axis rotary table is mounted on a large 360 mm (14.173 in.) x 360 mm (14.173 in.) x 13 mm (0.512 in.) plate with handles and has predrilled accessible mounting holes for easy integration into new or existing applications and for increased stability.

(OES) is a high resolution, high repeatability XY stage for such applications as: alignment, assembly, laser drilling, machining, medical, industrial, semiconductor handling, testing, scanning, and optical applications. The linear travel of the X and Y axes is 50 mm x 50mm, and the resolution of each axis is 5 microns (non-micro-step) or 0.125 microns (with 20 micro-steps per step motor driver in use), repeatability is 1.5 microns, and positional accuracy is 5 microns. The 1 mm per-turn lead screws and preloaded V-groove and crossed roller bearings contribute to the high precision and stiffness of the AU200-50×50-SC Alignment Stage

The XY table measures 155 mm x 155 mm and features a precision pattern of drilled and threaded mounting holes to facilitate the addition tooling or fixtures. Additionally a table with a large open aperture is also available. This low profile black anodized aluminum XY stage is easy to integrate into new or existing systems.

The two-phase stepper motors with knobs for manual adjustments of each axis are standard for the AU200-50×50-SC Alignment Stage, however, the knobs can be replaced with incremental encoders for position verification or closed loop operation. As an option, servo motors are also available. Compatible Motion Controllers are also available from OES and the AU200-50×50-SC alignment stage can be ordered as a complete plug-and-play system.

High Performance Ultra Compact Stepper Motor Positioning Stage From Equipment Solutions!

 

Sunnyvale, CA, – — The motion control SMS12 Linear Stepper Motor stage is an ultra compact stage that provides up to 12 millimeters of linear motion. This stage offers near sub-micron resolution with the ability to accelerate a small load at 2G’s. A non-contact home sensor provides a reference position with repeatability of a couple microns. It was specifically developed for optical applications requiring both high precision and modest-speed positioning over a short to medium stroke. The SMS12 is well suited for optical focusing and other micropositioning applications such as scanning interferometry, surface structure analysis, disk drive testing, autofocus systems, confocal microscopy, bio-technology, semiconductor test equipment.

Motion Control – Low Cost, High Precision XYθ Alignment Stages from OES!

Van Nuys, CA – Optimal Engineering Systems’ (OES) low profile, XYθ (theta) stages are designed for high precision alignment applications. These stages move in an XY-plane and rotate around the center of the XY-plane. The terms alignment table, or XY-rotation stage are often used interchangeably with XYθ, or XY-theta stage. Available in 12 models, in two precision grades, these stages have linear travels from +/- 2 mm by +/- 2 mm (+/- 0.078 in by +/- 0.078 in) up to +/- 30 mm by +/- 30 mm (+/-1.181 in by +/- 1.181 in). Additionally, XYθ (theta) stages can rotate around the center of the XY plane up to +/- 6O. Four models of the XYθ (theta) stages have solid tables that are sized from 100 mm by 100 mm (3.937 in by 3.937 in) to 200 mm by 200 mm (7.874 in by 7.874 in), and eight stages, from 250 mm x 250 mm (9.843 in by 9.843 in) to 1500 mm by 1500 mm (59.055 in by 59.055 in), are hollow core (open frame) stages.

Available in Normal and Precision grades, these XYθ (theta) stages have preloaded cross roller bearings and typical Normal Repeated Positioning Accuracy is from +/- 1.75 µm to +/- 2.5 µm, and typical Precision Repeated Positioning Accuracy is from +/- 0.7 µm to +/- 1.0 µm.

Parallelism of these XYθ (theta) Stages is as low as 30 µm, and the larger stages can handle dynamic loads to 600 kg (1323 lbs). The stages’ surfaces are treated to ensure durability and they are compatible with OES’ line of Motion Controllers. XYθ (theta) Stages can be ordered with linear encoders for closed loop operation, customized to meet specific requirements, and complete ready to run alignment systems.
