The large 400 mm x 200 mm (15.748 in. x 7.874 in.) stage has a pattern of threaded mounting holes. The rigid box construction of the moving component of the elevator stage travels on six slide rails assuring smooth vertical travel and parallelism of the table and mounting surface at all times, and features: 3.315 µ (non- Micro-Step) resolution, 5 µ repeatability, and 15 µ positional accuracy.

Built to order, a user can select from any combination of linear stages with travel lengths of 15 mm, 30 mm, 50 mm, and 75 mm for both the X and Z axes that feature high precision 1 mm per turn lead screws, and if required travel lengths over 100 mm are also available. Additionally, any of three goniometers with +/-10, +/-15, +/-45 degrees of travel can be selected and mounted in a horizontal (pictured) or vertical orientation.

The vertical motion of each Z-Axis Stage is driven by an 8 mm diameter ball screw with a 1 mm lead, and guided by cross roller bearings. Very high resolutions of 0.1 micron or 0.05 microns with 10/20 micro-steps per step motor drive, and repeatability of +/- 0.5 microns makes these two Z-Axis Stages ideal for: Microscopy, inspection, metrology, positioning, photonics, sampling, and laser drilling and machining.

The 60 mm x 95 mm (2.362 in. x 3.740 in.) drilled and tapped stage has a vertical travel of 4 mm (0. 157 In.). Six crossed roller guides and a precision ground 8 mm dia. 250 µm/turn lead ball screw provides smooth, straight (straightness to <5 µm) vertical motion, and parallelism (<20 µm to the mounting surface), and high resolutions to 1.25 µm (full step), 0.625 µm (1/2 step), and 0.125 µm (1/10 micro step), and repeatability to +/- 0.5 µm. The AZ60 – A Elevator Stage is constructed of black-anodized aluminum alloy and weighs just 1.14 kg (2.51lbs). A powerful 35 mm NEMA 14 1.8O 2-phase stepper motor has a double ended shaft with a knob for manual adjustments. This knob may be replaced with a quadrature encoder for position verification. The non-cantilevered moving wedge elevator stage has a load capacity of 7 kg (15.43 lbs) without concern for loss of parallelism, and the base plate has easy to access holes for mounting.
